In Minnesota we Jews call ourselves the “frozen chosen,” (yes, there really is somewhere colder than Boston in the winter)—but already the warmth of the TBS community has kept this Minnesotan warm as the temperatures outside continue to fall. I have really enjoyed meeting many of you and for those I haven’t met yet, I look forward to seeing you at the shul soon.
As a rabbinical student, I keep busy with very hip things such as studying Gemara and taking long walks to Cambridge on Shabbos and--just to step out of the stereotype at least a little bit-- I really like seeing many of the 20’s & 30’s people at MetroRock! In all seriousness though, I hope that over the course of this year (well, academic year at least) we get to do some Jewish learning and life learning together. Please feel free to contact me—even if just to look at a pasuk together or talk about life. My email address is tamargrimm@gmail.com and that is the best way to reach me. For more urgent matters that you would prefer to discuss over the phone, contact Miriam in the office and she will put us in touch.
Shalom uvracha,
Tamar Grimm
